Taking a Diagnostic ACT Practice Test

How it works

ACT practice tests are adminstered on paper, just like the official exam. Whether students take the exam on their own or in our office, they are given a bubble sheet to record their answers and a paper copy of the test, which they may write on.

Test results and the diagnostic score report are emailed to parents and students within two business days of the test. If the student has a consultation or session scheduled before that, we will prioritize scoring the practice exam.

Not sure if you're preparing for the SAT or the ACT?

Curvebreakers strongly advises students to carefully compare the results of their SAT and ACT practice tests before making a final decision on which exam to officially take. For those who are still deliberating between the SAT and ACT, we offer the opportunity to take one complimentary practice exam for both tests. This allows students to assess their performance and make an informed choice based on their strengths and preferences.

This process is what is referred to as our Guided SAT vs. ACT Choice Assistance. After obtaining SAT and ACT scores for comparison, we encourage students to schedule a consultation involving both parents and the owner of Curvebreakers. This meeting serves as an opportunity to delve into the student's college aspirations, academic profile, and collectively decide on the most suitable test for focused preparation.
