Private Preparation for the TACHS

Prepare for the CHSEE and TACHS exams with Curvebreakers

The Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools (TACHS) is the entrance exam offered online for students who are applying to Catholic High Schools in New York City and on Long Island. Test results give Catholic High Schools some objective data about eighth-grade students and is also used to group and track ninth-grade students.

What happened to the CHSEE exam?

During the pandemic, the Diocese of Rockville Centre transitioned to the TACHS exam because students were able to take it online. This change became permanent, and the CHSEE is no longer offered. Since 2020, the TACHS has only been offered online through a platform called Proctorio.
