How to Purchase SAT & ACT Video Courses Through Nassau BOCES

Curvebreakers Test Prep has a contract with Nassau BOCES to offer our SAT and ACT video courses to schools. Through this partnership, schools can purchase the courses and become eligible for partial reimbursement through the state’s technology aid program. The reimbursement amount is based on each school’s pre-established aid ratio. To begin the process, a letter of intent must be signed by an authorized representative from the district's central office.

How to Get Started

  1. Initiate the Request:
If your school wants to offer SAT/ACT prep, have an administrator or director (e.g., Building Administrator, Director of Technology, or Director of Curriculum and Instruction) start the process. Teachers do not have signing authority for this step.

  2. Contact Curvebreakers:
Reach out to Curvebreakers, and we’ll provide a custom quote for your school.

  3. Sign the Letter of Intent (LOI):
You will receive a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the purchase. Make sure someone in your central office signs the LOI — this is required to move forward.

  4. Receive Your Purchase Order:
Once the LOI is signed, Nassau BOCES will issue a Purchase Order (PO) to your school.

  5. Activate Your Course & Finalize Payment:
As soon as the PO is in place, Curvebreakers will activate your video course.

This process makes it simple for your school to offer high-quality SAT/ACT prep while taking advantage of state funding.
