Taking a Diagnostic, Digital SAT Practice Test

How it works

Digital SAT practice tests are administered through Curvebreakers' Online Diagnostic SAT Practice Testing Platform. This online application mimics the real, adaptive SAT with the same in-app testing tools, Desmos calculator, new exam structure, and new question types.

To take the test in our office, students must bring their own laptop or chromebook. Students may also bring their own graphing calculator.

The online diagnostic testing platform times the exam for you, which means that students don't need a proctor or someone else to time the test for them. All that is needed is a login, access to the internet, a computer, and a place to take the test with minimal distractions.

After completing the exam, students will immediately have access to their results, diagnostic analyses, question-by-question review, and a question bank for additional practice. See what the score analysis includes.

Access to diagnostic, digital SAT practice tests

Students who are planning to sit for an official SAT should purchase full access to the Online Diagnostic Digital SAT Testing Platform. With full access, students have the ability to log in and take digital SAT practice tests at their convenience and throughout their test preparation. Full access unlocks all 10+ digital SAT practice tests in the platform, allowing students to take as many as they need to in order to gauge their progress and reach their goal score. Please allow for one business day to receive your login and instructions on how to access the testing platform.

Not sure if you're preparing for the SAT or the ACT?

Curvebreakers strongly advises students to carefully compare the results of their SAT and ACT practice tests before making a final decision on which exam to officially take. For those who are still deliberating between the SAT and ACT, we offer the opportunity to take one complimentary practice exam for both tests. This allows students to assess their performance and make an informed choice based on their strengths and preferences.

This process is what is referred to as our Guided SAT vs. ACT Choice Assistance. After obtaining SAT and ACT scores for comparison, we encourage students to schedule a consultation involving both parents and the owner of Curvebreakers. This meeting serves as an opportunity to delve into the student's college aspirations, academic profile, and collectively decide on the most suitable test for focused preparation.
