Emily is a near-native Spanish speaker who is extremely passionate about studying and sharing the Spanish language. In May 2015 she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the State University of New York at Binghamton, with a minor in education. In her final year of university she worked as a Spanish tutor for fellow students and as a teaching assistant in an advanced Spanish grammar class. She spent sixteen months living in Spain on three separate occasions, which gave her the opportunity to refine and nearly perfect her Spanish. Over the years she has had many different opportunities to teach language to both adults and children, working in settings ranging from schools to online classrooms. She is a patient, flexible, and enthusiastic tutor, and looks forward to helping her students dominate Spanish grammar!
